How to install skirtings with your wood flooring?
Installing your skirting boards is simple. There is a skirting board to match every wooden floor design in the range, so once you’ve selected the boards to match your floor, simply proceed as follows. Give your interior that stylish impression with skirting boards that have the same look as the floor. Want to match the colour of the wall? Then choose our white, paintable skirting boards.
- Attach the skirting boards to the wall (never to the floor).
- Do not fill expansion gaps, except with a foam strip covered with Quick-Step elastic, waterproof, and transparent silicone.
General:
- Start by measuring the walls of your room from corner to corner.
- Use a mitre saw to cut the skirting boards at the correct angle.
