How to install skirting after placing a vinyl floor?
For every Alpha Vinyl floor there’s a skirting board that perfectly matches its design. Installing your skirting boards is easy: Quick-Step has a wide range of floor plinths to complete the necessary expansion space around the floor. You can choose a perfect colour match or a white or paintable skirting board to match the walls.
- Attach the skirting boards to the wall (never to the floor).
- Do not fill expansion gaps except with foam strips covered with Quick-Step elastic waterproof transparent silicone.
Installation steps:
- Start by measuring the walls of your room from corner to corner.
- Use a mitre saw to cut the skirting boards to the correct angle.
